About Guest: Sanjay Nayak is a Co-founder of Tejas Networks Ltd. where he was the CEO & MD from inception in 2000 till his retirement in 2023. Sanjay holds a Master’s degree in Computer Engineering from North Carolina State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics & Communication from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra. Under his leadership as CEO & MD from 2000 to 2023, Tejas Networks grew from a startup to a publicly listed, multi-billion-dollar company, now a part of the Tata Group. With over two decades of industry leadership, Sanjay has received numerous prestigious awards, including "Telecom CEO of the Year" (Economic Times), "CNBC Awaaz CEO of the Year - Technology," and "Electronics Man of the Year" (ELCINA). He is also a Fellow of the Indian National Academy of Engineers (INAE) and has been inducted into the ECE Hall of Fame at North Carolina State University. Sanjay has actively shaped industry policies, serving as Chairman of FICCI’s National Science, Technology & Innovation Council, Co-Chairman of the Telecom Export Promotion Council (TEPC), and Chairman of CII’s National Committee on Telecom & Broadband.
