In this video I'm going to show you guys an HBA + SAS expander solution if your setup is limited to PCIe 3.0 x4. There are not many HBA controllers that fit in PCIe x4 slots, and the older H1110 or 9211-4i are just too slow being PCIe 2.0. In this video, I talk about using the M1210 with the AEC-82885T SAS expander, and why I think this might be the best solution for anyone who is limited to a PCIe 3.0 x4 slot.
