The Best, Worst and Weirdest Terminator Games

So, let’s travel back in time and examine some of the many games that have been based on (and inspired by) this franchise, from the earliest console games, arcade classics, and how James Cameron’s seminal time travel franchise helped lay the groundwork for Bethesda Softworks later successes like Skyrim and Fallout 3. Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines got some official tie-ins, Terminator: Salvation took the assignment seriously with a totally original game prequel, Terminator: Genesys had a mobile game with none of the action the series is known for, and Terminator: Dark Fate kicked off a long line of Arnold Schwarzenegger, Linda Hamilton and Robert Patrick guest appearances, from the T-800 in Gears of War to Sarah Connor in Fortnite to the T-1000 in Mortal Kombat 1.
