With yogurt, lemon, vanilla and a super soft dough, it always turns out perfectly – ideal for beginners and perfect if you want a cake that smells like it came straight from a French kitchen. It also has a light lemon syrup glaze and a delicate icing for extra freshness – but even without these, the cake remains fantastically moist and aromatic. Simple, classic and incredibly delicious! 🍋💛 Recipe: 3 eggs 🥚🥚🥚. A pinch of salt. 1 tsp vanilla sugar or vanilla extract. 200 g sugar (1 cup / 7 oz). Beat with a mixer for 2-3 minutes. Mix well until the mixture is creamy. 120 ml oil (1/2 cup / 4 fl oz). 180 g yogurt (3/4 cup / 6.3 oz). zest of a lemon. Juice of one lemon. 250 g flour (2 cups / 9 oz). Add the flour in two stages so that the dough mixes better. 12 g baking powder (1 tbsp / 0.4 oz). Mix everything well until the dough is smooth. 22 cm (8.6 inch) casserole dish. Grease the baking tin with butter so that the baking paper stays in place. Bake for 35–40 minutes at 175°C (347°F). 30 ml water (2 tbsp / 1 fl oz). 2 tablespoons of sugar (40 g / 1.4 oz). Juice of half a lemon (60 ml / 2 fl oz). 80 g powdered sugar (2/3 cup / 2.8 oz). 1 tbsp lemon juice (15 ml / 0.5 fl oz). Thanks for viewing and commenting on my recipes!
