Video Description
Wouldn’t it be great to have a really large monitor that floats besides you and follows you around while operating a gimbal? A virtual display that you could just put in the place where you need it would be a game changer for filmmakers. We set out to create a solution that does just that by using ordinary wearable displays… with surprisingly good results. And you don’t have to take just our word for it… we showed the system to professionals from the filmmaking industry and everyone had the same first impression… wow… this changes everythingI Not being designed for the purpose there is surely a lot to improve, so we conceptualise how an ideal monitoring solution of the future should work… and by doing that, we found a totally innovative way for crews to work in a collaborative way. Disclaimer: PORTKEYS sponsored this episode and they gave us two of there interesting monitoring solutions to check out for you: the MT22DS, a feature rich 21.5 inch field monitor that we used intensively over the past month , and their BM5IV… a solid 5inch monitoring solution with really good user interface. For our AR Glasses setup we us X-Real Air 2 Pro. You can surely use other brands of updated versions. For wireless video, we use DJI SDR Transmission. We are not affiliated with X-Real but if you want to buy a DJI SDR Transmission and you want to support us, you can buy one using this affiliate link: https://click.dji.com/AHcvvBE44GIdHbvmfcZBlQ?pm=link –––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––– Please join the ranks of the Media Division: https://www.youtube.com/mediadivision/join Talk to us an our community: Closed Facebook Group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/mediadivision2 Business and collaboration inquiries [email protected] ––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––– MUSIC Music licences by Artlist To get the music from this episode, subscribe to Artlist.
