It appears that if you pass through the second SATA controller to a VM, the host system no longer has access to the CPU sensors and drops to 1.9GHz. The first SATA controller can be passed thru without issue. This seems to be related to the fact that the SATA controllers are built into the AMD SOC, rather than being a separate chip.
