Video Description
Ron DiFrancesco was a Canadian working on a U.S. immigration work visa in the South Tower of the World Trade Center on 9/11. He was a manager at Euro Brokers' office on the 84th floor. After witnessing the first plane hit the North Tower, and receiving a concerned phone call from a friend in Canada, Ron decided to begin exiting the South Tower. As Ron headed towards the 84th floor elevators the second plane slammed into his building. Directly in the impact zone, Ron now began his harrowing journey out of the severely damaged tower. Fifty-four minutes after the plane hit the building, Ron stumbled out of the south tower and into the courtyard. Moments later the South Tower collapsed on itself and Ron.
