In 2018 the Fermilab experiment MiniBooNE that was checking on this observation saw it too. The anomaly is above the discovery threshold. What does this mean for the standard model of particle physics? Correction to what I say at 1 mins 55 seconds: "lepton" should have been "charged lepton" (in both instances).
