Notable is of course very subjective, here's roughly how I defined "notable" for the graph: No actual tech demos. Generally games that only got VR support were ignored unless the games in question are huge (PD2, F4, Skyrim.) Games need to have a notable amount of sales, which I mostly judged using Steam Reviews. Anything that sits at less than ~500 Steam Reviews was ignored for this. I was also biased towards games I had personally heard of or played before too. I think changing these parameters and including more games would still show a clear trend of tons of games releasing in 2017/2018 and less in the following years, which is all this graph set out to do. Revisting this video months later, the more interesting stat to follow would be judging this by "interest in certain VR games" however that may be measured.
