That insight led me to create Site Builder Report in 2013, where I began reviewing website builders. In 2017, I added a YouTube channel called Steve Builds Websites. And while I still continue to write at Site Builder Report, my real passion has shifted towards creating videos for Steve Builds Websites.

Elon Musk's newest company is The Boring Company. And this is their website. And if we open up the page source, we'll find a little easter egg. A note that says it was made with Squarespace. Now Elon Musk is the richest man in the world. Dude could afford an amazing web designer. And yet The Boring Company's website is on Squarespace. Probably the $12 plan or maybe they stretched to the $18 plan. I kind of love this. Web designers sometimes put their nose up at website builders. They'll act like Squarespace isn't for REAL websites. But that is DUMB. Good websites are pretty straightforward. Easy navigation. Big photos and scannable copywriting. And that's what Squarespace provides. So if it's good enough for Elon, it's probably good enough for any entrepreneur.
