April 14, 1994. An American F-15 patrol over the mountains of Iraq picks up an unexpected radar signature. Captain Eric Wickson squints at his scope, confirming the contact. Strange, considering they're in a no-fly zone, carefully watched by an AWACS plane tracking every movement for miles. Yet nobody else sees what he is seeing. Wickson calls in the slow-moving blips, roughly 40 miles southeast. From the AWACS comes a concerning response: no known aircraft in that sector.
