So, what's a plural noun? Plural nouns are things like dogs, cats. A noun is a person, a place, or a thing. And if you don't put the "s" on the noun, it can mean something very different. As an example, I like dog. Huh, wow. That means you like to eat dog, so be careful. You need the magic "s". So, if you rock up to someone and go, "Hey, guess what? I like dog." You're like, "Oh, I like dogs. Okay, cool." Again, I like cat, and it's a food. Oh, I like cat food. That's okay. But be careful because you might get strange looks from someone, and I'm sorry, I don't know why it's like that. It's just English giving me a job. Thank you. This is a huge one as well. I met some friend. Hmm. So, when you use plurals, you have to make sure that you put the "s". I met some friends. So, hey, I've invited seven friend. Is your friend called seven? I've invited seven friends, and I'm always like, "Say the 's', say the 's', say the 's'." Sometimes I'm like, "Make an 's'." It's really fun. So, making mistakes is normal, it's natural, but I want you to be aware of these. Next one, singular verbs. Oh, this kills me every time. So, this is crazy as well. It's not your fault, it's English. He, she, and it. Okay? I always tell my students he sh—ts, he, she, it sh—ts. Why? Because you must put the "s". So, if you say "he likes", "she likes", "it likes food", you can't say "it like food", you have to say "it likes food". Every time you have a "he", a "she", or an "it", you must put the "s" on the base verb. Okay? Yeah? Yeah, blink, blink, get that in your head. Nail it in there. Next one. Oh, no articles.
