Max was born in Italy and graduated from the Berçot fashion school in Paris. After studying design, and with a budding career in a Paris fashion house, Max made his first trip to India. There, he discovered some exceptional craftsmanship. After having fallen in love with this fascinating country, he decided to move there. Today, his company counts more than 60 embroiderers, mostly Muslim men, working together for the world's most luxurious fashion brands. Since he arrived in India, Max has strived on a daily basis to improve the daily life of the local embroiderers and is continually trying to take their skills to the next level of excellence.
