The US's two options if Russia objects to the peace negotiations | DW News
Description
Russian President Vladmir Putin has met with a US delegation inside the Kremlin, for talks aimed at moving closer to ending the war in Ukraine. US special envoy Steve Witkoff and Donald Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner presented a revised version of a 28-point peace plan that had been criticised for being too closely aligned to Russian war goals. Ukraine requested the the revisions, and has now tentatively backed the new draft. The Kremlin described the talks as "useful" – but said there'd been no compromise on territory. 00:00 US delegation meets Vladimir Putin in Moscow 02:11 John Hardie, Foundation for Defense of Democracies 06:17 Mikhail Alexeev, Political Scientist, San Diego State University 13:16 Orysia Lutsevych, Head of the Ukraine Forum, Chatham House For more news go to: http://www.dw.com/en/ Follow DW on social media: ►Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/dwnews ►TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@dwnews ►Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/deutschewellenews/ ►Twitter: https://twitter.com/dwnews Für Videos in deutscher Sprache besuchen Sie: https://www.youtube.com/dwdeutsch Subscribe: https://www.youtube.com/user/deutschewelleenglish?sub_confirmation=1 #moscow #urkaine #negotiations
