What happens when ALL the ice on Earth melts? I mapped every stage of SEA level rise, from 1 meter to 70 meters, to SEE which cities go underwater first. The results are eye opening for sure. TIMELINE: 0:00 - Which city drowns first? 0:40 - What's happening RIGHT NOW 4:15 - 1 Meter: Islands disappear 6:20 - 7 Meters: Major cities fall 8:54 - 20 Meters: New inland seas form 10:30 - 50 Meters: Berlin goes underwater 12:25 - 70 Meters: Antarctica Is out of ice 13:18- The path forward Berlin. A major European capital 100 miles from the coast. At 50 meters of sea level rise, it's completely submerged. That's how far inland the water pushes. This isn't a prediction for next year. If all 5 million cubic miles of ice on Earth melted, it would take thousands of years. But we're already on this path. Antarctica is losing 150 billion metric tons of ice per year. Greenland loses 266 billion tons annually. The rate is accelerating. By 2100, we're looking at 2.2 meters of sea level rise. That alone displaces hundreds of millions of people. Miami, Jakarta, Bangkok, & New Orleans are already at their limits. Small island nations like the Maldives and Tuvalu could lose 80% of their land by 2050. So I mapped the full scenario. From the first meter that wipes out entire countries, to 70 meters that reshapes every coastline on Earth. Some frozen lands become paradise while major capitals vanish. The question isn't whether sea levels will rise. They already are. The question is how much, how fast, and whether we're okay with the path we're on.
