All three choices offer very good cost of living options with excellent scenery, access to most all western-type amenities, existing expat communities, but often overlooked for more well known destinations like Bali. I also talk with a couple of local Sanur people who operate small businesses on the beach, as well as an older lady who tells me of her life and health issues which compels me to visit her shop and haggle for a t-shirt I eventually buy. We also meet a Canadian chap who's been living in Sanur since Covid as well as an Australian man and his Indonesian wife who live here as well. Both are kind enough to give us an idea of what they're paying for rent as well as their general living costs for a month. It was a wet day in Sanur, Bali.
