The Trump administration announced an agreement on Tuesday to officially end the SAVE plan for federal student loans. In a press release, the Department of Education announced a proposed joint settlement agreement with the State of Missouri. The Department says, under the settlement, it “will not enroll any new borrowers in the illegal SAVE Plan, deny any pending applications, and move all SAVE borrowers into legal repayment plans”. The U.S. Supreme Court held a hearing Tuesday on a case involving Vice President J.D.
