Trump says 'license should be taken away from ABC' after their reporter asks about Epstein files
Description
President Donald Trump on Tuesday angrily dismissed a question about the 2018 murder of Jamal Khashoggi, claiming the Saudi dissident journalist was “extremely controversial” and insisting the subject was only raised during his meeting with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to embarrass his visitor. Trump went on to insist Prince bin Salman — who the CIA assessed likely ordered the murder — wasn’t involved. Trump grew visibly angry when asked why he doesn’t unilaterally release the Jeffrey Epstein files, attacking an ABC reporter instead of answering the question and insisting he has no connection to Epstein. “It’s not the question that I mind. It’s your attitude. I think you are a terrible reporter,” the president snapped. Trump then said that ABC’s license should be revoked, arguing that the Federal Communications Commission chairman should take a look at the network.
