President Donald Trump is building a massive ballroom attached to the East Wing. In renderings, released by the White House, the ballroom has grand columns and many windows inside. It is a large open space big enough to seat 650 guests. Trump's new ballroom is getting a mixed reception. Construction of the ballroom will begin in September and is expected to take two years. The president says he and private donors will cover the $200 million tab.
