The thing is, while the Lamborghini is totally standard, the team at Pure Tuning has gone to town on the GT R’s engine! So which will come out on top? Let’s take a closer look at the contenders… First up, let’s check out the Lamborghini. It’s powered by a 5.2-litre naturally-aspirated V10, and this creates 610hp and 560Nm. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a 7-speed dual-clutch, and it tips the scales at around 1600kg. As of today, the car is worth around £170,000. Next up it’s the AMG GT R. Following the tune to its 4-litre twin-turbo V8 it now produces 756hp (up from 585hp) and 1,120Nm, and this is sent to the rear wheels via a 7-speed dual-clutch.
