The reality is that you place the end very close to the surface of a record and pull the trigger *slowly*. If you buy one you will get instructions - but I wouldn’t want to be responsible for leading anyone into performing a sub-par de-staticising procedure by following my non-example. By the way my pistol is an old version - that's why it looks different to the ones on sale now (links above). LIQUID Q) Hey why didn’t you fill the tank with (inset alternative liquid here - IPA, Detergent, a diluted mixture of stuff etc etc )? A) The instructions state only to use (Distilled) Water with the machine and not to put anything else in it. ALTERNATIVES Q) You shouldn’t clean your records with that, the best way to clean records is to (insert alternative method here).
