Van Life: New England Blizzard and Finding a Hidden River Lookout

New England got hit with a blizzard serving over 2 feet of snow, and I spent 36 hours straight hunkered down in the van. Between the howling wind and the freezing temperatures, it was the ultimate test of my mental game. Surviving a storm this size requires preparation, a reliable diesel heater, and a lot of patience. Once the storm broke, I dug out the van, and headed out on a snowshoe adventure along the Sudbury River in Wayland. This journey took an unexpected turn as I visited the 17th-century resting place of my first ancestor to arrive in the colonies from England. I also discovered a mysterious hidden structure deep in the wetlands—a secret lookout with an incredible view. Ending the day with the reality of 'van life chores' like storage unit rent and office prep as the rain starts to move in. To wrap up the day, it's back to business at my wellness studio and a trip to my storage unit as another wave of snow and rain begins. We just officially crossed 1,500 watch hours!
