►The P3 Volvo chassis shipped with multiple engines, the most popular being the 6-cylinder 3-liter turbocharged engine known as the T6 and the 6-cylinder 3.2-liter naturally-aspirated engine known as the SI6. Unlike earlier engines, these featured an additional cylinder and were transversely mounted in the engine bay. Because of this, both of these engines are more complex and have unique engineering solutions than their predecessors. This guide covers the engine diagnostics and maintenance of a wide range of models and years. Starting first with the XC90 in 2007, these two engines could be found in the XC60, S60, S80, V60, and the V70 straight through until 2016.
