A family run agricultural contracting/ stake farming business in Mid/ North Devon spread across over 2500 acres of land. Operating primarily John Deere Tractors and Harvesters alongside Horsch implements and a Horsch Leeb sprayer. We carry out all arable farming work in house from cultivation/ drilling to spraying and harvesting and want our videos to show people what we do. Video Description
A video dedicated to one incident on Saturday morning! While the John Deere’s and the JCB Fastrac are out working, the Horsch Leeb started early up at Braunton to spray beet before the days heat. Unfortunately in the first field of the day there was a big accident involving hitting the stay cable on an electricity pole and the sprayers boom was bent - but thankfully not fully snapped! We assess the damage, use the machines available to anchor it in one direction and pull in the other to straighten the bent section and realign it.
