To close out Season 8, we’re welcoming one of Britain’s most recognisable and beloved figures to the Dish table… it's Helena Bonham Carter! From A Room with a View to Harry Potter and Sweeney Todd, her career is packed with instantly iconic roles. This time, she joins Nick and Angela fresh from her latest turn in Agatha Christie’s Seven Dials, now streaming on Netflix. Well versed in life on set, Helena arrives prepared with her own carefully curated snack bag, but still makes room for a cheese toastie — a Dish first. Angela serves them hot and unapologetically indulgent, stacked with five cheeses and sticky shallots, alongside a glass of Valdo Elevantum Prosecco. A Mother Root and tonic also makes an appearance, with a few other drinks dotted around the table, just in case. The food chat moves from childhood burgers that didn’t quite survive the journey from plate to mouth, to serious deli daydreaming. Angela attempts to reframe brains as something worth eating and gently guides Helena past her rice hesitation, with tips and tricks on how to cook it properly. A joyful way to close out the season.
