About

A nerd found a microphone and started a YouTube Channel. This is a relatively small channel with a love of all things Science Fiction, but always looking to grow and expand our content. You'll find here stories and lore from science-fi with a focus on Star Trek. I always encourage discussion so stay a while and maybe you'll find something to enjoy! Star Trek, Doctor Who and Mass Effect will always have a home here, but if you've got something specific, send us a request! Thanks for stopping by!

Video Description

Starship design in Star Trek is brilliant, with many unique and identifiable ships. Most of this is down to the silhouette of the saucer section and nacelles. While much has been explained on the warp nacelles, not as much reason was given as to why the saucer section was just that; a saucer. Let's take a look at the lore reasons and the behind the scenes reasoning for the saucer section design. STAR TREK® Online developed by Cryptic Studios and Perfect World.
