Why Some Games Deserve a Second Chance

Recently I replayed Darkest Dungeon, a game that I tried for a few hours and then put down. I wasn't the biggest fan. This time though... I loved it. Why is that? There is a some very complex psychology underpinning why we might change our mind about a game. There are a good deal of extraneous factors that might influence us to dislike something, and our brain can even trick us into hating something that we would normally love under different circumstances. In this video, I'll talk about some theories of why that happens, and why some games deserve a second chance.
