Wines of this caliber are worth a special effort to find, purchase and consume. 90 - 95: An outstanding wine of exceptional complexity and character. In short, these are terrific wines. 80 - 89: A barely above average to very good wine displaying various degrees of finesse and flavor as well as character with no noticeable flaws. 70 - 79: An average wine with little distinction except that it is soundly made. In essence, a straightforward, innocuous wine. 60 - 69: A below-average wine containing noticeable deficiencies, such as excessive acidity and/or tannin, an absence of flavor or possibly dirty aromas or flavors. 50 - 59: A wine deemed to be unacceptable. 5 and a half years ago, I decided that I wanted to make the world taste better by sharing wine stuff on YouTube. I didn't think there was enough great content out there, and I wanted to build an independent wine channel to share honest ratings and accurate information about the beautiful world of wine. After spending a lot of time learning about shooting and editing videos, I posted the first video on the 2nd of June 2020. I was pretty excited when it went live and dreamed about it reaching the world and getting people interested in wine. I was also a bit scared that people would make fun of me or tell me that the video that I had worked on for days was terrible. So what happened next? Pretty much nothing. It took 222 days for the video to reach 1,000 views. The first comment came in from @MargaritaMartini0105, and she is still a subscriber to this channel. Things progressed slowly and then faster. And by the end of last year, this channel had grown to 200,000 Subscribers, which is amazing. I recently ran the statistics, and you guys have watched more than 2,4 million hours of my YouTube content, that’s 100,000 days, or 274 years … crazy. Thank you for tuning in, commenting, liking, and saying “hi” at events – I am very grateful. Today I want to do something you don’t see very often on YouTube anymore. I will answer some of your questions to give you an exclusive behind-the-scenes look into the life of a Master of Wine, and this channel.
