Wisconsin Judge Sentences 2nd Teen To Life In Prison For Fatal Shooting

Antonio Johnston was 17 when he and a 14-year-old boy killed a 20-year-old woman in a shooting melee in Wisconsin that targeted a rival. Johnston, now 19, was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole on Friday (December 19) by Judge Laura Lavey in Fond du Lac County Circuit Court. Lavey sentenced Johnston after she sentenced Johnston's co-defendant, 16-year-old Parise Larry, to life in prison without parole, too. The gunfire that killed Zech also injured several others. "First, I want to give my deepest and sincere condolences to the entire Zech family or anybody else that has been harmed, and that includes friends, family, distant friends, everyone who has been harmed in any type of way, shape or form by this tragedy that occurred on May 7, 2023." "I am so so, so very sorry. I never intended to harm Tatyanna Zech, and I'm so sorry that she has lost her life.
