For those of you who are interested in a little info about me, personally, woodworking and wood turning is a hobby I picked up to manage the stress of my real job as the lead pastor of Mission Hills Church, based in Littleton, Colorado. It’s a great church...amazing staff and congregation, but it’s a little on the large side which creates a constant set of stressors. Woodturning is how I keep the stress under control. Video Description
In this video, I turned a chunk of Camphor Burl into a very fine bowl. Camphor smells very interesting…I don’t personally like it, but my wife does, so go figure. The wood grain is fantastic and I love the way it turned out. After sanding to 800 grit, I used Yorkshire Grit Woodturners Abrasive and Polish to finish it up. Thanks for watching!
