I purchased these myself, so this is a completely independent review! After using the original XREAL One glasses extensively, I'm keen to see how the new "One Pro" model stacks up, especially with its redesigned features. Is this the AR upgrade we've been waiting for? Let's dive in! 👇 🚀 In This Video, We Cover: 📦 Unboxing Experience: First look at the new packaging and redesigned carrying case (smaller, slanted design). What's included: XREAL One Pro glasses, USB-C cable, multiple nose pads, prescription lens insert frame, and a premium cleaning cloth. 👓 Design & Build Comparison (XREAL One Pro vs. XREAL One): The sleek new look with significantly flatter, "squircle-ish" rectangular prisms – a potential game-changer for reducing glare! Physical differences: The One Pro feels narrower, lighter, and more like conventional glasses. "Powered by Bose" audio confirmed on the unit. Adjustable temple angles for a custom fit. 🖥️ Setting Up & First Use (with a Mac): Initial setup process and software update via Xreal Beam Pro (mentioned). My favorite feature: Testing the ultra-wide desktop mode, aiming to replicate my 49-inch Samsung Odyssey experience. Navigating the UI: Anchor mode, screen calibration, menu access, and brightness/electrochromic dimming controls. 👁️ Visual Performance & Key Features: Improved Field of View (FOV): Noticeably wider, making the ultra-wide experience more natural (shows up to 499 inches in follow mode!). Electrochromic Dimming: Testing the 3 levels of dimming and its effectiveness, even against bright studio lights. Visual Clarity: Still 1080p, so some pixelation is visible, but generally clearer with less eye strain than the XREAL One, especially for text. 120Hz refresh rate feels snappy. Great for productivity tasks like video editing in Final Cut Pro. 🎧 Audio Quality: Thoughts on the "Powered by Bose" downward-firing speakers – a bit tinny but enjoyable for glasses audio. 😌 Comfort & Wearability: Lighter and more comfortable than the previous generation, though still noticeable for non-glasses wearers during extended use.
