Just like the 40 series launch in 2022 when I got a 4090, it was a bunch of BS and required luck and some knowledge about how the Best Buy queue system works. And again it turns out there's a "trick" that involves basically activating the queue with the Add to Cart button potentially before it's visible to others. Or at least knowing when to refresh. The Best Buy API apparently gives some kind of advanced notice when a drop is going to happen, either directly or indirectly, I'm not sure, I just know it must give a certain different response when something is truly out of stock vs a few minutes before a drop is going to happen. There are some bots that would give this notice but people would see it and refresh the page, not see the Add to Cart button and probably think the notification was false, but really it means it would become available within a couple minutes, so you'd need to keep refreshing. Since Best Buy tends to do clusters of drops, if you don't manage to get a card in the first wave, you should try and at least open an extra tab while the Add to Cart button is visible, so that you have that Add to Cart button that is clickable instead of the "Sold Out" button. And when you have the Add to Cart button do NOT refresh the page.
