A family from Iowa, Mum Jessica and dad Ted have four children - three sons, aged five, four and two and a baby girl. However, these parents do not know how to discipline their motley crew. They leave the house without telling anyone; the family's last car was ruined because the boys scratched the outside and drew all over the inside, and the youngest son constantly plays with the plug sockets. Bedtime is just as chaotic as the parents drive their children around town to get them to fall asleep! Nanny Stella informs these parents that their lack of discipline jeopardises their children's safety.
