Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has said he is ready to meet Russian President Vladimir Putin "personally" in Istanbul on Thursday for talks over ending the war. His post came after Donald Trump demanded Ukraine agree to Putin's offer of direct talks between the two countries in Turkey. Zelensky had earlier said his country was open to talks with Russia but only after a ceasefire was in place. On Saturday, European leaders urged Russia to agree to an unconditional 30-day ceasefire with Ukraine starting on Monday at a meeting in Kyiv. Putin's offer of direct talks followed that intervention. Subscribe here: http://bit.ly/1rbfUog For more news, analysis and features visit: www.bbc.com/news #Ukraine #Russia #US #BBCNews
