In a major development in the investigation of Zubeen Garg’s sudden death in Singapore, his cousin and Assam Police Service officer Sandipan Garg has been arrested. Sandipan was allegedly present with the singer at the time of the incident. Assam Police had earlier arrested key figures including festival organiser Shyamkanu Mahanta and Garg’s manager Siddhartha Sharma. The CID has added a murder charge to the ongoing investigation.
