Apply to become speaker at Josh Talks - https://bit.ly/4iDHrxt हमारे आज के स्पीकर Sidharth हैं, जिन्होंने AIR 326 हासिल किया है, लेकिन इस रैंक तक पहुँचने का सफर कितना कठिन था, यह वह जॉश टॉक्स के मंच पर बताते हैं। सिद्धार्थ घर से दूर रहते थे, तभी एक दिन उनके भाई का फोन आया कि उनके ऑफिस में एक बड़े अफसर ने उन्हें धमकाया है और कहा है कि परिवार में उनके अलावा कोई कमाने वाला नहीं है। भाई ने सलाह दी कि अगर सिद्धार्थ एक बड़े सरकारी अधिकारी बन जाएँ, तो कोई भी उन्हें या उनके परिवार को कुछ नहीं कह सकेगा। इसी दौरान उन्हें और भी बड़ा सदमा लगा—उनके पिता बीमार पड़ गए। टेस्ट कराने पर पता चला कि उनका लीवर फेल हो चुका है और इलाज की बहुत कम उम्मीद है। सिर्फ एक महीने के अंदर उनके पिता का देहांत हो गया। देहांत से एक दिन पहले सिद्धार्थ उनके पास बैठे थे, जब उनके पिता ने उनसे कहा कि वे एक सरकारी अधिकारी बनें। अंतिम संस्कार के बाद उनकी मां ने बताया कि उनके पिता की इच्छा थी कि सिद्धार्थ IAS अधिकारी बनें। यही बात सिद्धार्थ के लिए सबसे बड़ी प्रेरणा बन गई। उन्होंने UPSC की तैयारी शुरू की। एक ही साल में उन्होंने 10 अलग-अलग सरकारी परीक्षाएँ दीं, उम्मीद थी कि किसी न किसी में चयन हो जाएगा, लेकिन हर रिजल्ट में जीरो सफलता मिली। फिर भी उन्होंने हार नहीं मानी और अपनी कमजोरियों पर काम करना शुरू किया। अगले ही प्रयास में उन्होंने प्रीलिम्स, मेंस और UPSC इंटरव्यू तीनों क्लियर कर लिए। अपनी मेहनत, धैर्य और लगन से सिद्धार्थ ने अपने पिता का सपना पूरा कर दिखाया। Our speaker today is Sidharth, who secured AIR 326, but the journey behind this achievement was filled with struggles that he shares on the Josh Talks stage. Sidharth lived away from home when one day his brother called and told him that a senior officer had threatened him at work, saying that no one else in their family earns except him. His brother advised him that the only way to earn respect and security was to become a high-ranking government officer. Soon after, Sidharth received even more heartbreaking news—his father fell seriously ill. Medical tests revealed complete liver failure, and doctors said there was very little hope. Within a month, his father passed away. A day before his death, Sidharth was sitting beside him when his father expressed his wish: that Sidharth should become a government officer. After the funeral, his mother told him that his father had always dreamt of seeing him become an IAS officer. Motivated by this, Sidharth began preparing for UPSC. In one year, he appeared for 10 different government exams hoping to crack at least one, but every result came out as a failure. Instead of giving up, he worked on every weakness, strengthened his preparation, and the next year he cleared prelims, mains, and the final UPSC interview.
