在哥倫比亞河谷，寒冷、潮濕、多風雨的冬季結束後，迎來的是涼爽的春天。太陽更頻繁地穿過雲層。森林裡野花綻開，顯得生氣勃勃。 我們剛從台灣搬到美國，七個女兒在這裡度過了第一個冬天，沒有吃到台灣常見的芭樂、火龍果、柳丁、木瓜、和蓮霧。我們只買的到常見的蘋果、香吉士和香蕉。後來有一天，我們決定沿著路慢跑，釋放一下積壓的冬天能量。Adeline德靈注意到我們經過的一棵樹上長著鮮紅的漿果。低頭一看，原來是櫻桃！ 在今天的影片中，我們將帶您踏上我們家的櫻桃採摘之旅，並分享享用這種簡單卻美味水果的不同方法。上帝對祂的孩子們很仁慈，祂甚至會免費為想要的小女孩提供水果！哈哈哈。感謝您的觀看！下週的影片會很精彩——是關於綿羊的故事！敬請期待！ 祝福您和您的家人， Stephen、Christy 和家人 In the Columbia River Gorge, the end of the cold, wet, and windy Winter season is followed by the still cool, rainy weeks of Spring. The sun pokes it's head through the clouds more frequently. The forests come alive with budding wild flowers. The birds and bees take flight in search of mates and nectar. The world turns green, and the air smells wet and grassy, with hints of lilac. Having just moved to the US from Taiwan, our 7 daughters went through their first winter here without the typical Taiwanese strawberries, tomatoes, oranges, and wax apples. We got used to the typical apples, oranges, and bananas. Then one day, we decided to release some pent-up winter energy by going for a jog along the road. Adeline or one of her sisters noticed bright red berries growing on one of the trees we passed by. Low and behold, it was cherries! In today's video we take you on our family's cherry picking adventure, and share the different ways we can enjoy this simple, yet beautifully delicious fruit.
