科技的進步改變了我們的生活方式，似購物為例，市民不用真金白銀，只要用智能電話中的電子錢包功能，就可以隨時隨地購物。不過，近日就有騙徒假扮折扣油卡中介公司推廣員，向司機或車主搭訕，以真折扣油卡作餌，博取受害人信任後，進而套取他們的個人及信用卡資料包括卡背安全碼，再利用有關資料到電訊公司開新電話卡，並啟動手機電子錢包，然後迅速瘋狂購物買手機轉售套現，最少十七人受害，涉款近一百萬元。
