Hi, I'm Jason, and my channel is all about making things out of junk. Most of the materials I use in my videos were discarded, or thrown away, destined for landfill, or the bonfire. These videos are not meant as tutorials, they are just to show the way I do things. I needed a chessboard fit for a King, or maybe two of them, and Queens, Bishops, etc... The wood is from some old discarded furniture, a mix of walnut and what might be mango wood, but I can't be sure. The piece of brass is a kick plate from the bottom of an old door.
