G'day my name is Levi and I'm a prospector and adventurer of gold living in Tasmania, Australia. I've always loved the outdoors and grew up along rivers and streams in Tasmania, but it wasn't until I went fossicking for gemstones that my prospecting passion took flight. After this initial gem hunting trip I started researching gold in Tasmania and quickly learnt the techniques and methods to find gold. Once I found that first piece of alluvial gold the rest was history, I've had gold fever ever since and I'm extremely passionate about it.

My son and I will be heading back into an area where we have recently found good gold. This time we'll be taking in the medal detector to detect the freshly exposed ground from a recent flood that hit just a short time ago. We'll also be crushing ore to see if any of the quartz veins in the bedrock hold gold, we're eager to get back in and this fast becomes another awesome adventure in the Tasmanian wilderness.
