An Alaskan red fox was hunting voles under the snow near me and I got this video of it catching a vole in its nest under the snow and eating it. The fox would walk across the snow listening and when it would hear a vole it would jump on the snow breaking the top layer of ice and then digging down and catching the vole in its nest.
