Home Movies is BACK, and we’re so glad to be here. After three gorgeous years of “Season 1,” it’s time for SEASON 2. New kitchen, new vibe, because evolution is necessary and we love growth. There is a new groove to be found, and we are so grateful for you sticking around on this journey. Anyway, the recipe today is a Lemon Pepper Pasta with Browned Butter. Part cacio e pepe, part pasta al limone, all pantry pasta. Sure, most pastas I make are pantry pastas, but this silky, luxurious, lemony number is the ultimate “I can’t believe this came from only that” recipe—my favorite way to cook. You’ve probably already got the basics on-hand: butter, red pepper flakes, black pepper, lemon zest, and cheese. Once you add perfectly al dente pasta (this is key!) and coax everything to meld in the pan with a little tossing, it gets saucy and glossy, two of the finest things in life. Because this is a complete meal, there is, of course a little side of blanched broccoli and peas tossed with garlic and lemon.
