Today's video is about the 168-day restoration journey of a forgotten ROLLER, a 12-ton roller that was abandoned 30 years ago and then abandoned in the wilderness. Time has not been kind. The paint has faded into patches of rust, the engine has been out of commission for years, and every moving part is stuck or broken. Most people would have walked away without hesitation. But where others see scrap metal, we see potential. We see a story worth reviving. This was never going to be a quick fix, and it was a matter of discovery and determination to bring this forgotten machine back to life. Every day brought a new challenge, a new problem to solve, and slowly, bolt by bolt, the past was rebuilt. The restoration process began with a complete disassembly. Every panel, every tube, every part was removed and carefully inspected. Some were so rusted they crumbled to the touch. Others were so rare they had to be custom-built from scratch. The engine had to be completely disassembled. Every piston, valve, and cylinder was cleaned, repaired, or replaced. The hydraulic system was no better. Leaking hoses, broken seals, and clogged pipes had to be meticulously repaired. But the work wasn't just about the mechanics. It was about preserving history. We wanted this roller to not only run again, but to feel as if it had never been forgotten. !
