The rough edges were taken off Intel's Pentium 4 and AMD's Athlon XP with the Northwood and Thoroughbred cores, NVIDIA brought us some of the best DirectX 8 cards money could buy with GeForce4 Ti, and by the end of the year ATI flipped the GPU world on its head with the Radeon 9000 series and DirectX 9. What better way to celebrate some of these milestones than with a gaming PC from the era?
