But, most people do not know that the Academy is one of the leading sources of information on the film industry past and present. From the personal papers of stars, to film archives, to newspaper clippings to rare publicity stills and even scripts - the Academy's collection is second to none. Peter Jones attends the opening of the Academy's new Center for Motion Picture study, the collection's new home, and speaks with Academy members Robert Wise, Charlton Heston, Shelley Winters, Gregory Peck and Garry Marshall.
