DB11 era solved much of this, with some massive advances thanks to the bonded aluminium platform, and a team behind the scenes bringing in proper driving dynamics across the range. But still, every car was on the back foot thanks to dated interior systems which were hand me downs from Mercedes! DB12 changes all this - with Aston’s First ever in-house infotainment system, and doubling down on the racing focus the previous gen started in such a successful way! You can partly thank the new CEO and CTO - Amadeo Felisa and Roberto Fedeli, who have come over from main rival Ferrari, and replaced ex AMG boss Mr Moers. Hence perhaps why, the bold claims of the first Super Tourer are made, while the Roma already exists! Punchy! Let’s see if DB 12 can live up to it! The performance upgrades are massive.
