Driver survives HORRIFIC semi wreck! Remember that tow truck crash video I posted where I said it's one of the worst I've seen? Well this one beats that by quite a bit. Personally, I've had a couple jobs where the cab falls off the chassis and the driver survives. You'd figure that would be rare, but it does happen. By a miracle, the driver walked from this insane disaster of a wreck with barely a couple scratches. Alex was first on scene in Big Flipper, our 75ton rotator. We were called by CHP (California Highway Patrol) do handle the crazy wreck. Another company was called for the JB Hunt tractor trailer that was hit by this driver. No clue on how this accident happened, but it most likely was one of the two most common reasons: distracted driving or falling asleep behind the wheel. Alex was joined by Pepe himself, my father, and Java Joe. Together, they made short work of this monster job. From start to finish, including the grueling cleanup, the guys were done in just a couple of hours. The driver of this wreck ended up being transported to the hospital out of safety.
