I’ve loved this character for years, as long as I can remember. Even before getting into his comics, since I watched Justice League Unlimited as a kid. Something about this character, whether it be his Robin Hood aesthetic, or his humor, or his politics, or hell even his goatee. Something has always drawn me to him one way or another, and he’s become an incredibly important part of my life. When it comes to the CW “Arrow show,” there are aspects that I do like, but on the whole it was more concerned with being “Green Batman” than anything to do with Oliver Queen. Sidelining the things and characters that make him who he is. Which is a shame, because Green Arrow has such an amazing catalogue of stories, some of the best DC has to offer, that he deserves a better chance at the spotlight. And in a time where it feels like Green Arrow fans are getting the short end of the stick, it’s gotten me thinking what my dream Green Arrow movie would be. Especially with the new James Gunn DCU and all the possibilities that come with it. A chance for everyone to see what this character has to offer and what makes him so special. So this is my pitch for “Green Arrow.” The trilogy. Yeah it's a whole trilogy I kind of went overboard.
