I absolutely loved the first season, and as a huge fan of James Gunn’s other work I was really excited to see what more the character had in store. There have been a lot of conflicting opinions about this second season, especially after the events of the finale and how they lead into the rest of the DCU. Some people love it while plenty of people are hating it. Me personally, I’m not quite sure where I land on it just yet. There’s a lot that I love, but also a lot that fell short for me. And I’m still trying to figure out whether or not this is another bright spot for the DCU, or if the Gunn finally jammed.
