First Impression of Singapore! Not What I Expected…

Come along for a full day wandering around Singapore and honestly, this city totally caught me off guard. We started near Sultan Mosque and explored the colorful Haji Lane. Along the way, we spotted the super slim Gateway building and walked through a bunch of different neighborhoods and many unique spots. We even found some quiet time in Canning Park, which was a perfect little break. No wonder Singapore’s called the “City in a Garden” We walked down streets full of hidden gems, including one where temples and mosques sit side by side. It really shows how Singapore is this incredible melting pot of cultures and religions. When it was time to eat, we couldn’t skip Maxwell Food Centre for some classic, delicious Hainanese chicken rice. After that, we soaked in the stunning Marina Bay Sands skyline and explored the beautiful Marina Bay Gardens. But the real highlight? The unforgettable light show at Gardens by the Bay. Seriously, it’s something everyone should see at least once. To wrap up the night, we sent postcards from and ended up right back where we started, totally in love with this city. Hope you enjoy!
